It Just Hurts To Watch...

Another Game, Another Loss... these devestating losses just kill the morale of Pogge.
What can you do?
Play some D.

I just say go for Tavares or at least a top 3 draft choice.

Do the Leafs Really Really Love Joseph?

Here's food for thought, with another stinkin' loss 5-0 to Buffalo last night, which also did not cover the over/under line of 6 because they could not even get one goal, Leafs are well on their way towards going for Tavares. But, Pogge actually didn't play that bad, considering it was a shooting gallery in front of him.

So, my belief is that the Leafs really really love Joseph and want's him to keep his job as the back-up netminder as that's two games in eight days for Pogge where he was basically was free for target practise. Makes him rather stay with the Marlies...

Two weeknights, two Leaf Losses, two Raptor losses and Too much disappointment all around.

Another Game Another Loss... With Some Insult to Injury

So the Leafs had another lead 3-1 and they looked good throughout the majority fo the game. Hagman's goal was a thing of beauty deking out three guys and the goalie from the corner to put it in on the empty net. Very impressive. Easy hockey like Antropov's goal just a shot by Stralmann and a rebound... tic tac toe. And then... the 3rd period.

Beautiful pass by Stillman over to Weiss. I like this kid Weiss.. hard worker, gets to the net and the new style of the Panthers of hard cycling down low and the agression is working in their favour and that's why they've moved into 8th in the Eastern Conference.
But the kicker was definitely McCabe getting an assist on the tying goal and this crappy slapper that Toskala HAS to stop for the winner... it doesn't matter where he goes, he's a thorn in TML's side.

The look on Ron Wilson's face when that goal went in was purely priceless and pretty much sums up this year. Go for Tavares... I don't think we're gonna get much better. But I do understand the reasoning for trying... just apparently, don't try too hard.

Watch Sweden goalie dive all over the place

Watch Swedish goalie Jacob Markstrom dive during their 5-1 drubbing to Canada in the goal medal of the World Junior Hockey Championship. Does Markstrom realize how ridiculous he looks? The whole world is laughing at him.
